Terms of Service

The rules governing access to and use of Enmarch.

Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms govern access to and use of Enmarch. By using Enmarch, you agree to follow these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

Your wallet, device, and backups

Enmarch is an encrypted messaging service. You are responsible for your wallet, device, private keys, seed phrases, and local backups.

Enmarch cannot recover wallet keys, seed phrases, device secrets, or plaintext messages if you lose access to them.

Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use Enmarch in your jurisdiction. You must not use the service if you are under the required minimum age, barred from using it, subject to applicable sanctions or export-control restrictions, or otherwise prohibited by law from using encrypted communication tools.

Acceptable use

You may not use Enmarch for illegal, harmful, abusive, or unauthorized activity. Prohibited conduct includes child exploitation, threats of violence, harassment, stalking, fraud, scams, malware distribution, unauthorized access, spam, impersonation, unlawful sale of goods or services, intellectual property infringement, or coordinating activity that violates applicable law.

Protecting the service

You must not interfere with Enmarch systems. This includes probing, scanning, attacking, scraping, reverse engineering restricted service components, bypassing rate limits, abusing APIs, attempting to access another user's account or device state, or disrupting infrastructure.

Enforcement

Enmarch may limit, suspend, or terminate access if we believe that you have violated these Terms, created legal risk, harmed other users, abused the service, or threatened Enmarch's security or integrity. Because Enmarch uses wallet- and device-based identity, enforcement may apply to wallets, devices, sessions, API access, or related identifiers.

Your content and reports

You own or remain responsible for the content you create and send. Enmarch does not claim ownership of your message content. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to share anything you send and that it does not violate another person's rights, privacy, intellectual property, or applicable law.

Because message content is encrypted, Enmarch generally cannot review private messages unless you voluntarily provide decrypted content in a report, support request, or legal process.

Pre-launch and experimental features

Enmarch may provide software, protocols, cryptographic verification, commitments, blockchain integrations, or experimental features. Some features may be pre-launch, beta, incomplete, or subject to change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Blockchain risks

Blockchain-related features may depend on public networks outside Enmarch's control. Transactions, fees, wallet behavior, network congestion, finality, indexing, and public chain data are controlled by third-party networks and software. You are responsible for understanding and accepting blockchain-related risks.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Enmarch is provided without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect security, message delivery in every circumstance, recovery of lost keys, compatibility with every wallet or device, or that the service will meet every user's needs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Enmarch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, or goodwill; wallet or device compromise; blockchain-network failures; or third-party service failures.

Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Enmarch and its team against claims arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms or law, infringement of rights, or harmful conduct.

Changes and contact details

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Where required by law or reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material changes. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. Legal notices, privacy requests, abuse reports, and law-enforcement requests will have official contact details published on the website before public launch.
